Scanmix CONFLOW GP 400

Self-leveling and fast-setting mixture for leveling concrete, cement-sand, anhydrite and asphalt floor bases, including those heated. It is used for laying floor coverings in dry interiors. The layer thickness of the leveling compound, which is applied in one pass, should be between 3 and 30 mm. When applying a layer with a thickness of 30-80 mm, you can use a mixture of Conflow GP with the addition of dry fractional (0.5-1 mm) sand (up to 30%). Conflow GP 400 is not suitable for industrial floors.

PROPERTIES:

  • Low shrinkage
  • Suitable for seamless heated floors
  • Suitable for machine application
  • Technology transfer in 8 hours
  • High adhesion to base
  • Quick set of strength
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Smooth surface

PREPARATION OF THE BASE:

The base must be strong and resistant to deformation from external loads. The base is cleaned of sagging, areas of weak strength and substances that reduce adhesion (fats, oils, paints, etc.). Remove the weak surface layer with a sander, sandblaster or steel brush. The resulting dust is removed with a vacuum cleaner. The preparation of the ground is carried out in accordance with Building regulations 3.04.01-87, Building regulations 2.03.13-88 and State Building Norms of Ukraine V.2.6 -22 -2001. Cracks in the base must be widened to a depth and width of up to 5mm and filled with Scanmix SP repair mortar. The strength of the base must be no lower than that of Conflow GP mortar. The age of concrete screeds must be at least 3 months, if from cement-sand mortars – at least 28 days. Porous substrates must be primed with Scanmix. The primer must be completely dry before applying the leveling compound.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK:

The dry mixture is mixed with a precisely measured amount of pure cold water (from +15° C to +20° C ) on the basis of 0.20-0.24 l per 1 kg dry mixture. The dry mixture is gradually introduced into water and mixed to form a homogeneous mass with the aid of a low-rotating mixer (rotation rate not exceeding 600 revolutions / min . ). Then make a technological break for about 3 minutes for the solution of organic additives and mix again. An overdose of water reduces the mechanical strength of the solution and leads to the stratification of the mixture. The prepared mixture should be used within 45 minutes from the moment of mixing. The mixture is poured onto the base and spread over the area with a metal spatula. To remove air bubbles, it is recommended to roll the surface of the freshly laid mixture with a metal roller. A piston or screw pump can be used to supply the mixture. Conflow GP flows well. In case of breaks in work for more than 20 minutes, the tools should be rinsed with water. The solution that was taken can only be removed mechanically. Work should be performed at a substrate temperature of + 5 ° C to + 30 ° C. All quality indicators and recommendations stated in the technical description are correct at an ambient temperature of + 23 ° C and a relative humidity of 50%. In other conditions, it is possible to change the time of hardening, curing and drying of the material. During the period of hardening and gaining initial strength, the solution must be protected from overdrying (ensure that there are no drafts, local overheating, direct sunlight, etc.). The expansion joints existing in the base should be repeated in the leveling layer. Conflow GP must not be mixed with other dry mixes, adhesives, polymer dispersions and other substances! When installing underfloor heating, the temperature of the base, as well as the temperature and humidity of the air in the room, must correspond to the specified conditions for using the mortar mixture. The floor should not be heated for at least two days after laying the mortar mixture. Pre-operational heating should be done as follows: the heating temperature should be increased every day by 5 ° C, but not higher than + 35 ° C. The heating is switched off before laying the floor covering. The heating can be switched on at operating power 72 hours after the covering has been laid. Once started, the bags must be closed tightly again. The manufacturer guarantees that the Conflow GP mixture meets the specified technical characteristics when following the rules of transportation, storage and application, which are described in this description.

The manufacturer is not responsible for the improper use of the mortar mixture, as well as for its use for other purposes and conditions not covered by this description.

SAFETY PRACTICES:

Do not pour mortar and water into sewer pipes after work. It is advisable to wear rubber gloves. Avoid contact of the solution with the skin or eyes. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water, since the mixture contains cement, which, when mixed with water, forms an alkaline medium.

SHELF LIFE:

In dry space and on pallets, in factory packaging: 8 months from the date of issue indicated on the package.
