PREPARATION OF THE BASE:
The base shall be dry, strong, dust-free, dirt-free, lime-free, grease stains or paint. The loose, defective layer shall be removed. It is recommended that recesses and irregularities larger than 5 mm be levelled with the same solution 24 hours before the start of work. All bases are treated 1-2 times with SCANMIX primer. Dry bases with good hygroscopy must be pre-wetted.
PERFORMANCE OF WORK:
Mix dry mixture with clean water up to uniform mass, without lumps. After 5 minutes the finished solution should be mixed again. Apply a thin layer to the surface with a spatula. Then level the solution with a serrated spatula. The trowel teeth must be square and match the size of the tile (15×15 cm – 6 mm notches, 30×30 cm – 8 mm notches). Do not wet the tiles beforehand. It is not recommended to lay the tiles on the “joint”. The use of spacers is optional.Due to the characteristics of the solution, the laid tile is fixed on the surface and within 5 minutes it is possible to adjust its position. The time for laying tiles on the applied mortar is up to 30 minutes. With a decrease in temperature, the setting time of the glue increases.

SAFETY PRACTICES:
The solution and water should not be poured out after working in sewer pipes. It is desirable to work in rubber gloves. Contact with the skin or eyes shall be avoided. If the solution enters the skin or eyes, it is necessary to wash it thoroughly with water, since the mixture contains cement which, when mixed with water, forms an alkaline medium.
SHELF LIFE:
In dry space and on pallets, in factory packaging: 12 months from the date of issue indicated on the package.
PACKAGE:
The dry mixture is packed in paper bags of 25 kg.
