Scanmix FIRE 750

Scanmix FIRE 750

Heat-resistant mixture for masonry of ceramic and refractory bricks stoves and fireplaces and their repair. The mixture can be used for masonry and repair of thermally stressed sections of building structures, such as:

  • kilns for brick production;
  • drying ovens;
  • furnaces for hardening metal products;
  • furnace chambers of grain dryers;
  • baking ovens, etc.

The mixture is made of a special heat-resistant filler and a special mineral binder, which provide increased resistance to cracking in masonry joints. The shape and size of the filler ensure increased mechanical strength of the mortar and minimal thermal erosion of masonry joints.
The solution prepared from this mixture is simple and easy to use. Having high plasticity, it is easily and evenly applied to the surface. In this case, the thickness of the seam can vary within 2-5 mm. Working with the mixture does not require highly qualified performers.
The use of the mixture can significantly reduce labor costs for masonry and repair work. In addition, an increase in the overhaul life of products can dramatically reduce operating costs.

PROPERTIES:

  • Fireproof
  • Hardens rapidly
  • Crack resistant
  • High adhesion
  • User-friendly
  • Unsuccessful
  • Mechanical strength
  • Environmentally friendly

PREPARATION OF THE BASE:

The base is being prepared in accordance with State Building Norms of Ukraine V.2.6-22-2001. The base must be clean, sound and dry. Irregularities and fragile areas of the base must be cleaned off.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK:

Pour the dry mixture with clean water (water temperature from + 15 ° С to + 20 ° С) at the rate of 0,16-0,22 l / kg of adhesive mixture and mix until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained using a low-speed drill or mixer. Then let the dissolved mixture stand for 3-5 minutes, then stir again. The solution is suitable for use within one hour.

Apply the prepared mixture evenly to the contact surface with a trowel or steel trowel and spread evenly with a notched trowel. Attach the blocks by pressing lightly. Gluing should be done within 20 minutes from the moment the mortar layer is applied to the base. After the blocks have been laid, their position can be corrected for 10 minutes. The hardening time of the mixture depends on the type of substrate, temperature and humidity and is about 24 hours. It is recommended to slightly moisten the surface of the brick. Consumption of the mixture with a joint thickness of 5 mm is approximately 0,4 kg / brick. Remove excess mortar protruding from the seams. It is recommended to make the first firebox at half the capacity of the furnace.

The manufacturer is not responsible for the incorrect use of the material, as well as its use for purposes and conditions not provided for in the instructions.

SAFETY PRACTICES:

Do not pour mortar and water into sewer pipes after work. It is advisable to wear rubber gloves. Avoid contact of the solution with the skin or eyes. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water, since the mixture contains cement, which, when mixed with water, forms an alkaline medium.

SHELF LIFE:

In dry space and on pallets, in factory packaging: 12 months from the date of issue indicated on the package.

PACKAGE:

The dry mixture is packed in paper bags of 25 kg.
