Tile adhesive, standard, used for gluing (outside or inside) ceramic tiles, glass mosaics, wall or floor clinker tiles (or other products with a minimum absorbing capacity within 3%) on non-deformed load-bearing substrates, such as concrete, brick, plaster, drywall. Can also be used for masonry or block masonry with thin seams.
Stable on vertical surfaces. Waterproof and frost resistant. For particularly large tiles (more than 30×30 cm) or heavily profiled undersides, it is recommended to apply mortar to the tiles to prevent voids.
There is a “winter” version of the mixture that allows you to perform the above work at a temperature of -10 ° C.
PROPERTIES:
- Layer thickness 2-10 mm
- Elevated adhesion
- Stable on vertical surfaces
- User-friendly
- Highly plastic
- Frost resistant
- Waterproof
- environmentally friendly
PREPARATION OF THE BASE:
The base shall be dry, strong, dust-free, dirt-free, lime-free, grease stains or paint. The loose, defective layer shall be removed. All bases are processed 1-2 times with primer SCANMIX. Before laying the tiles on the old ceramic surface, the latter must be degreased with caustic soda (1 kg per 10 litres of water) and washed with clean water. Рекомендуется также укрепить базу путем разрушения “сетки” поверх старой плитки.
PERFORMANCE OF WORK:
The tile is not wetted. The adhesive solution is mixed manually or mechanically with clean water until a uniform consistency is obtained. After 5 minutes, the finished solution should be stirred again. The solution is applied by a thin layer to the prepared surface with the aid of a suitable serrated spatula (the size of the teeth can vary between 6 and 10 mm). Apply such an amount of mortar to have time to glue the tiles in 30 minutes. Due to the special qualities of the mortar, the laid tiles are fixed on the surface, and their position can be corrected within 10 minutes. After 48 hours, the surface can be used and the joints can be joined.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Under adverse weather conditions (high temperature, dry wind, direct sunlight), the time taken to apply a surface solution can be significantly reduced. To prevent this, we recommend wetting the surface of the base or protecting the surface from direct sunlight. As the temperature decreases, the capture time increases.
The instrument is washed with clean water immediately after use and contaminated tiles before/after laying.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for improper use of the material or its use for purposes and conditions not provided for in the instruction.
SAFETY PRACTICES:
The solution and water should not be poured out after working in sewer pipes. It is desirable to work in rubber gloves. Contact with the skin or eyes shall be avoided. If the solution enters the skin or eyes, it is necessary to wash it thoroughly with water, since the mixture contains cement which, when mixed with water, forms an alkaline medium.
SHELF LIFE:
In dry space and on pallets, in factory packaging: 12 months from the date of issue indicated on the package.
PACKAGE:
The dry mixture is packed in paper bags of 25 kg.
