PREPARATION OF THE BASE:

The most important factor is the preparation of the foundation. The main requirement is that the surface must be strong and clean (the exposure of the cement base is at least 28 days and the strength is at least 1.5 megapascals, or the cement / sand ratio is 1: 2,5). Before applying the solution, it is necessary to remove not only coarse dirt from the base, but even dust, preferably with a vacuum cleaner. To remove oils, grease, wax, paraffin, paint and other contaminants from the surface of the substrate, use solvents and then rinse with water. Large damages, for example, chipped parts of the screed, cracks or voids, should be filled with the same self-leveling mixture, only of a thicker consistency. All substrates should be primed with SCANMIX 2-3 times. Wetting of the base surface is not allowed.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK:

The mixture is mixed with water by means of a low-speed mixer (not exceeding 600 revolutions/minute) to avoid the solution being aerated until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. After 5 minutes, the finished solution should be stirred again. Pour the solution onto the prepared substrate and spread using a roller, hard broom, rubber strip and similar tools. It is recommended to roll it over the surface of the poured layer with a spiked roller to remove air plugs. A reciprocating or screw pump can be used to supply the solution. For large areas, limit stops should be used. In the event of a break in operation for more than 20 minutes, the machine should be cleaned with water. The hardened mortar can only be removed mechanically. The diluted solution must be protected from drying out.

NOTE: Excess water will reduce the mechanical strength of the mortar, and the mortar may delaminate. Protect from high temperatures and drafts.After 24-36 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity, the floor is ready for use. Various coatings can be applied to the floor surface in 2-7 days. To obtain a high-strength surface after 3-4 days, the floors must be covered with SCANMIX primer.

SAFETY PRACTICES:

Do not pour mortar and water into sewer pipes after work. It is advisable to wear rubber gloves. Avoid contact of the solution with the skin or eyes. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water, since the mixture contains cement, which, when mixed with water, forms an alkaline medium.

SHELF LIFE:

In dry space and on pallets, in factory packaging: 6 months from the date of issue indicated on the package.

PACKAGE:

The dry mixture is packed in paper bags of 25 kg.
